His Majesty King Abdullah II sent a cable of condolence to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on the passing of his brother, Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, may God rest his soul.
On his own behalf and on behalf of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its government, His Majesty expressed the most sincere feelings of condolence and sympathy on this painful occasion, asking the Almighty, exalted is He, to grant the deceased His vast mercy, to place him in the vastness of His gardens, and to inspire His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, the noble family, and the brotherly Emirati people with beautiful patience and good consolation.
