We will continue to strive to achieve the goals of the National Project for the Defense of the Language because we believe that language is not merely a tool for communication—despite the importance of this role—but it is not its most important role. Language is the nation and its existence, a truth confirmed by political sociologists when they asserted that the nation and the language are inseparable, and that the nation does not perish if its language remains. Therefore, defending the Arabic language is a defense of the existence and continuity of our nation.
Language is the culture and thought of the nation, and the thinking of a nation cannot be sound if its children do not think in their original language. Therefore, we perceive the reality of intellectual confusion and cultural chaos in many environments in our society because these environments have prioritized other languages over the Arabic language. This is an intellectual and cultural confusion whose repercussions affect our entire society; therefore, confronting them by defending the Arabic language is the duty of everyone who is zealous for their homeland and nation. Just as defending the language is a defense of the nation's thought and culture, it is, before that, a defense of the right of its children to sound education, after scientific studies, especially in the field of education and pedagogy, have proven that a student's ability to understand and comprehend in their mother tongue far exceeds their ability to comprehend in other languages. For this reason, civilized and advanced nations are keen to educate their children in their own language before they learn any other language. Therefore, we in the National Project for the Defense of the Language defend the right of our children to distinguished education.
