Solidarity - First Insurance Company denounces the claims and accusations made by certain representatives of the Jordan Medical Association and its pension fund, which are completely devoid of truth and have harmed the company's reputation and credibility. The company expresses its utmost surprise at the insistence on singling out its name specifically in a dispute concerning the entire insurance sector, despite its longstanding and solid professional and contractual relationships with the medical community spanning years.
The company affirms that from the very first moment, it closely monitored the developments of this crisis and took all necessary measures to ensure the continuity of medical service for its insureds and to safeguard the rights and interests of all parties.
The standing that Solidarity First Insurance occupies in the Jordanian insurance market did not come from a vacuum; rather, it is the fruit of many years of work, commitment, and trust-building, supported by a solid investment base involving investors and partners from inside and outside the Kingdom, and strong professional relationships with its clients and partners.
We state clearly: whoever believes they can single out Solidarity First Insurance Company or make it an easy target in a dispute concerning the entire insurance sector has miscalculated.
Regarding the accusations directed against us, Solidarity First Insurance was among the forefront of companies that committed to implementing the amended medical fee schedule and the new medical protocols and procedures, and it continued to fulfill all its obligations toward doctors and medical service providers in accordance with the concluded agreements.
As for the claims regarding delays in paying doctors' dues, we are surprised that they were made against a company known among its partners for regularity and commitment to payment, especially since some of the doctors launching these accusations today were themselves receiving their dues regularly, which is conclusively proven and documented by our financial records.
Making sweeping accusations without relying on facts raises legitimate questions about their true motives, and whether the goal is to reveal the truth or mislead public opinion and achieve media presence at the expense of the reputation and credibility of national institutions.
The vast majority of doctors and medical service providers chose to continue receiving the company's insureds and providing them with medical care, despite calls to halt dealings, and services continued normally without any noticeable impact.
On this occasion, Solidarity First Insurance extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to all doctors who prioritized their professionalism and humanitarian responsibility toward their patients, and maintained their professional and contractual relationship with the company, emphasizing that true partnership is measured not only by contracts, but by stances, and that trust built over years is not shaken by fleeting disputes.
The company also extends its thanks to its clients and insureds for their invaluable trust and understanding, affirming that ensuring they receive the medical care they deserve will remain at the top of its priorities, and that it will continue to exert every effort to protect their interests and avoid burdening them with the consequences of a dispute to which they were not a party.
As for the doctors who chose to stop receiving the company's insureds in violation of their contractual commitments, the company affirms that, in coordination with the Jordan Insurance Federation and the Jordanian Association for Health Insurance, their accreditation has been suspended across all networks of insurance companies and medical claims management companies, while the company reserves all its legal rights regarding any breach of those commitments.
The company emphasizes that it will not tolerate at all the protection of its reputation and standing, and will take all necessary legal measures against anyone proven to have exceeded their bounds or caused it any material or moral damage.
Solidarity First Insurance renews its affirmation that its dispute is not with the medical community, for which it holds all respect and appreciation, but rather with the approach chosen by some in managing this dispute, emphasizing that the solution must be institutional and comprehensive at the sectoral level through the Jordan Insurance Federation, in a manner that ensures fair and balanced solutions preserving the rights and obligations of all parties.
In conclusion, Solidarity First Insurance did not build its reputation with a media statement so that it would be shaken by a media statement; rather, it built it through years of work, commitment, customer trust, and the testimony of its partners among doctors and medical service providers. This is a trust we will continue to safeguard and defend by all legitimate means.
