Shabab Al-Ordon was represented in the match by: Waleed Issam, Amer Al-Majthouba, Jordi, Qusay Tannous, Yazeed Mahfouz, Saul, Salem Al-Ajalin, Hamza Al-Shamali, Saif Al-Tamari, Michael, and Adham Al-Rifai. On the other hand, Al-Hussein's lineup included Mahmoud Al-Kawalleh, Saleem Obeid, Abdullah Naseeb, Ali Hajbi, Yousef Abu Al-Jazar, Mahmoud Shawkat, Yousef Qashi, Mahmoud Deeb, Mahmoud Al-Mardi, Aref Al-Haj, and Masoud Juma.
Al-Hussein imposed its superiority on the first half from the opening minutes, possessing the ball and intensifying its attacking attempts in search of the opening goal. The team succeeded in translating its superiority in the 26th minute when Aref Al-Haj unleashed a powerful shot that settled into the net, announcing the first goal.
Shabab Al-Ordon's response was not long in coming, as Adham Al-Rifai managed to bring his team back into the match just four minutes later, when he scored the equalizer, benefiting from one of his team's organized attacks.
Al-Hussein continued to exert its attacking pressure, regaining the lead in the 34th minute through Abdullah Naseeb, who capitalized on a chance inside the penalty area to score the second goal. Shabab Al-Ordon tried to get back into the game before the end of the first half, but its attempts lacked the final touch, ending the first half with Al-Hussein leading two goals to one.
In the second half, Al-Hussein continued its attacking momentum and created more than one chance to extend its lead, before Yousef Abu Al-Jazar succeeded in scoring the third goal in the 57th minute after rising for a well-executed corner kick and heading it into the net.
It seemed that Al-Hussein was on its way to clinching the match, but the performance curve saw a clear shift after the third goal, as the title holder's level dropped and it gave its opponent the necessary space to attack. Shabab Al-Ordon exploited this decline to become more active on the attacking side, and its Ecuadorian professional Jordi managed to score the second goal and narrow the gap, which restored the team's hope of coming back with a positive result.
With Shabab Al-Ordon's continued attacking pressure, the team was awarded a penalty kick in the final minutes, which the Colombian professional Michael successfully converted, scoring the equalizer that ignited the atmosphere of the match and earned his team a precious point after a dramatic comeback from a 3-1 deficit.
