Scout march for ((Ma'an Youth))

The Ma'an Youth Center carried out a scout activity titled "Cellular March and Coexistence with Nature" in the archaeological city and its natural surroundings in Petra, with the participation of 20 young men.

The guided cellular march, which was supervised by scout leader Mohammad Al-Khatib, included many activities, most notably the participants traversing an environmental path between the pink mountains and valleys, where they were trained on reading maps, using a compass, and tracking signs and trails.

The event focused on applying the "Leave No Trace" principles to maintain the cleanliness of the archaeological site and protect wildlife and biodiversity in the area.

The activity aimed to instill the values of patience, teamwork, and taking responsibility among members of the scout movement, in addition to connecting them with the history of their ancestors and taking pride in prominent national landmarks such as the Rose City.

The center also organized, in cooperation with the Nashama Ma'an Club, the "Flag of the Nation" five-a-side football championship at the Prince Hashem City Hall in Madaba, with the participation of 80 players from the age group (17–35) years.

The Al-Hashimi Youth team won the championship title after defeating the Abu Sayyaf team in the final match with a score of (6–5), in a festive atmosphere on the occasion of national holidays.

The head of the Ma'an Youth Center, Amr Al-Rawad, emphasized the importance of sports activities in refining the skills of young people and investing their time.
