Promises of Peace

Since the large-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the United States has played the role of mediator and pushed for a political settlement, as the war has become a war of attrition between the parties, and the European Union has also been drained, with Germany alone paying over $100 billion in support of Ukraine. The American role remains ineffective in resolving the conflict, leaving it open for everyone to be drained, which serves the interests of the United States and its agenda in Europe.

Israel has dragged the United States into a war with Iran aimed at overthrowing the Iranian regime, ending the nuclear program, and preventing Iran from becoming a nuclear power. This war was not so much an American war as it was Israel's war for dominance over the Middle East. This war affected the world with rising oil and gas prices and inflation that spread throughout the global economy, not to mention the direct impact on all the Arab Gulf states. Every time matters reach a diplomatic resolution, an American strike ends the diplomatic file and returns matters to the initial state.

There is no longer any relative rapprochement, but rather an absolute clash, and Trump believes that the issue will be resolved soon in one way or another. There is an American military presence on the ground, represented by three warships and 50,000 fighters in the region, and he says that there will be no military strike before the midterm elections on 3/11/2026, and this may be a political ploy used in the President's statements more than once, and was dealt with in the opposite way. This suggests that there is a high probability of a new war against Iran, and Israel may intervene in this battle. If this happens before the 27th of this month, it will postpone the Israeli elections, which is what Netanyahu wants, as public opinion polls do not give him the advantage.

To return to the beginning, after the Gaza war, the Sharm El-Sheikh summit was held under the chairmanship of Trump, who claimed to be the leader of peace and signed a 14-point agreement. The stages of establishing peace in the Gaza Strip were not implemented, and Gaza remains a bleeding wound. The American administration took over the talks between Israel and Lebanon, with Israel withdrawing from the security zones, and the Lebanese army taking over security in the south. The Trump administration was unable to stop and resolve the conflict.

From the above, we see that the United States has not resolved a single conflict at the global level, especially in the Middle East, and has kept the door open in all conflicts without any realistic solutions on the ground. The question is: why? Because they and Israel benefit from the continuation of these wars and conflicts. How can major military industries operate without wars sponsored by the American administration, which says one thing and does another, and has a clear bias towards Israeli interests? The goal of the American administration is to manage conflicts rather than resolve them, leaving the door ajar in all issues, leaving matters as they are to benefit from any ongoing conflict.
