October 7th Anniversary

On this basis, the October 7, 2023 operation, primarily executed by the 'Al-Qassam Brigades' affiliated with Hamas, can be judged. It is certain that the movement's leaders, foremost among them Yahya Sinwar, who is supposed to be the primary decision-maker in planning and executing this operation, did not anticipate that the occupation forces' reaction would be so brutal, and that the surprise operation, which surprised the occupation army, would have catastrophic consequences for the residents of the Gaza Strip! And that Israel would wage a war of genocide against the sector, as a result of which a horrific humanitarian disaster occurred, and I believe that Hamas leaders' estimates assumed that the Israeli reaction would be a limited war, like the wars it had previously waged on the Gaza Strip, perhaps lasting a month or two!

Clearly, the results were not as calculated, as millions of Palestinians were displaced in miserable camps in a social environment drowning in diseases and epidemics, while the majority of hospitals and health centers were destroyed, and people cannot find medicines to treat the diseases they suffer from, as the ongoing war has resulted in more than 75,000 martyrs, hundreds of thousands of wounded, in addition to food shortages, as the residents of the sector suffer from hunger and depend primarily on what the Tekaya provide as food.

The same applies to Hezbollah's adventures, which began on March 2 of this year, by launching six rockets at Israel in retaliation for the killing of Iran's guide Ali Khamenei, resulting in the destruction of dozens of cities and villages in southern Lebanon, Israel's occupation of half of the south, and the displacement of more than one million people!

Personally, I published a book on the repercussions of the genocidal war waged by Israel on the Gaza Strip in response to the October 7 operation, titled 'Gaza: The Catastrophe and Heroism,' which includes a reaction to the Zionist narrative, which continues to invest politically in the Holocaust, which claims that the Nazi regime executed it by killing six million Jews during World War II, and although this is correct in principle, there is a great exaggeration in the number of those killed.

For political investment purposes and to obtain European compensation, especially from Germany, the occupation state annually commemorates the Holocaust on the 27th of April according to the Hebrew calendar, or around that date according to the adjustments of the days of the week, and the commemoration begins at sunset and continues until the evening of the next day, and sirens are sounded throughout the country for two minutes, at exactly ten in the morning, mourning the souls of the alleged 'victims'!

The number of those killed has been questioned by European thinkers and writers, foremost among them the French thinker Roger Garaudy, who considered the number to be greatly exaggerated, and documented this in his book 'The Myths that Founded Israeli Politics,' which was published in the mid-1990s. Garaudy questioned the common figures about the extermination of six million European Jews in gas chambers by the Nazis, and Garaudy was brought to trial for the book, and was sentenced to one year in prison with suspension.

Another French thinker named Robert Faurisson was pursued by the French authorities for denying the Jewish Holocaust, based on statements he made abroad about the Jewish Holocaust, and was fined by a French court in 1983 for stating that 'Hitler never ordered or allowed anyone to be killed because of their race or religion.'

Faurisson had expressed theories denying the Holocaust, 'which led the French judiciary to pursue him and remove him from the French university,' and a misdemeanor court in Paris issued in October 2006 a sentence of three months in prison with suspended execution on the same subject.

He does not deny that Jews were persecuted, but he criticized the exploitation of the Holocaust by the Zionist movement and Israel politically, and because of the book, a French court issued a conviction against him in 1998, fining him and sentencing him to one year in prison with suspension.

On the same charge, the British historian David Irving was brought before the Austrian judiciary, who questioned the Nazi Holocaust of Jews and the gas chambers in World War II, and Irving's charge was the revival of Nazism and the denial of the Holocaust through his books and lectures given in 1989, at which time he questioned the number of Jews who were burned and denied that it was six million, as well as questioning the existence of gas chambers.

Due to Zionist pressure and political investment by Israel in the Holocaust, several European countries (such as Germany, Austria, France, and Belgium) prohibit questioning or denying the Holocaust, considering it a form of incitement to hatred and anti-Semitism.
