Al-Hussein Club announced the night before last via its official social media pages that it has signed Moroccan player Mohamed Al-Rayhi, to be among the technical options the first football team will rely on this season. Al-Rayhi, who excels at playing on the wings and behind the striker, has previously had several professional experiences in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, in addition to Morocco, specifically with Wydad, for whom he played last season before mutually terminating his contract and moving to Al-Hussein on a free transfer.
The Pro League title holder for the past three seasons is counting on the Moroccan player to fill the void left by the team's former star Yousef Abu Jalboush "Sisa", who moved to pursue a professional experience in the Algerian league, as he excels at playing behind the striker, which is the same position "Sisa" used to occupy.
Al-Hussein had previously signed Kenyan striker Masoud Juma and Palestinian defender Qusay Al-Baddad, and renewed the contract of Brazilian center-back Pedro Henrique, in addition to Colombian striker Brayan Riascos, whose name was not included in the team's list for its last match in the AFC Champions League Two, which suggests the possibility of dispensing with him.
In addition to these names, Al-Hussein signed a group of local players during the summer transfer window, such as: Salah Al-Farash, Ahmed Ayman, Moamen Al-Sakit, Ahmed Al-Salman, Omar Khader, and Mahmoud Shawkat.
A few days ago, Al-Hussein announced the resignation of the team's technical director, national coach Ahmed Hayel, and assigned the task to his assistant Bashar Bani Yaseen temporarily, until a new coach is appointed, as the board of directors continues its efforts to sign a foreign technical director within the next few days.
