The management of Al-Hussein Club turned to the Spanish training school in a move aimed at modifying the path of the first football team and reorganizing its cards during the upcoming phase.
The club announced its contract with Spanish coach Coro Torres to lead the first football team, along with his assistant staff, in light of the management's aspirations to restore balance to the team, after the decline witnessed by the results during the past period at both local and continental levels, and what accompanied that of fluctuation in performance and results, which prompted the club to search for a new technical apparatus capable of dealing with the current phase.
Al-Hussein's management relies on the experience of the Spanish coach and his assistant staff to rebuild confidence within the team, raise the level of harmony between the players, and develop technical performance, in line with the club's aspirations and upcoming obligations.
It is expected that the new technical staff will begin their mission amid a desire to invest the period of stoppage and re-prioritize, and work to address the weaknesses that appeared in the recent matches, leading to the team regaining its positive results and its competitive position on various fronts.
Al-Hussein hopes that the arrival of Torres and his assistant staff will form a new turning point in the team's journey, which will help it overcome the phase of decline and restore balance and confidence, given the importance of the upcoming phase and its need for results that restore calm and stability to its ranks.
The start of the three-time champion of the Professional League in the past three seasons at both local and continental levels was contrary to expectations. Locally, the team suffered a significant loss to Al-Jazeera in the first week, then drew with Al-Baqa'a and Shabab Al-Ordon.
Continentally, the northern team failed to secure a ticket to the elite league after losing to the Uzbek Pakhtakor, forcing it to play again in the second continental tournament, where its first test was against East Bengal of India and ended in a draw, preventing the team from achieving victory in its first five matches locally and continentally.
This led to the resignation of the former coach, Ahmed Hayel, after a state of public anger, leading to the selection of the Spaniard Torres, who has extensive experience in the local second division league, along with other experiences in Latvia, Estonia, and Croatia.
