Major projects… the Social Security lifeline and the engine of confidence in the Jordanian economy

The announced results clearly confirm this; the Fund's assets reached approximately 20.1 billion dinars at the end of the third quarter of 2026, compared to 18.7 billion dinars at the end of 2025, a growth of nearly 8%. Comprehensive income reached about 1.37 billion dinars, and net investment income reached 879 million dinars, while the value of the strategic equity portfolio increased by about 492.4 million dinars. This is a result not created by coincidence, but by professional management that knows how to diversify its tools, seize opportunities, and maintain strong performance.

Most importantly, the Fund's management does not view investment solely as a cash return, but as the creation of national value. In addition to bonds, stocks, and money market instruments, it is consciously moving toward strategic projects in water, energy, transport, and mining; that is, sectors that touch upon national economic security, support productivity, and create job opportunities.

The Aqaba–Shidiya–Ma'an railway project provides a shining example of this approach. The Fund's 7% stake in the project company, as part of a Jordanian-Emirati partnership, means reducing transport costs and increasing the efficiency of logistics operations, especially for the phosphate and potash sectors. It is an investment that achieves a financial return, but at the same time, it adds direct value to the national economy.

The circle of impact widens through the $100 million Jordanian-Omani investment partnership, participation in the National Water Carrier project, and the move toward electricity generation projects and the pure phosphoric acid plant. These choices reveal a management that reads Jordan's needs with a long-term investment perspective, directing national capital toward water and energy security, industry, and export capacity files.

When Social Security invests in major productive projects, the return goes beyond financial statements: supporting industries are activated, new investments are stimulated, and job opportunities expand. Every stable job covered by Social Security means a new subscriber, additional insurance revenue, and a more robust economic base. Here, investment prowess integrates with the mission of Social Security: protecting people and securing the future.

Therefore, the strength of the Investment Fund is not measured by the size of its assets alone, but by its ability to transform them into a tangible impact. What the Fund is establishing today is an institutional model that combines professionalism, achievement, and vision; a model that increases numbers and creates impact simultaneously. Jordanians have the right to trust that the management of Social Security funds is moving, with awareness and responsibility, in a direction that accumulates value, protects the rights of subscribers and retirees, and serves the state and society.
