Launch of the second season of amateur youth theater in Tafilah

The activities of the second season of the project to activate performing arts and amateur youth theater, aimed at discovering young talents and developing their artistic capabilities, were launched today, Sunday, at the Tafilah Governorate Culture Directorate.

Director of the Tafilah Culture Directorate, Mahmoud Al-Amayreh, said that the project is being implemented in cooperation between the Directorate of Theater and Visual Arts at the Ministry of Culture and the Arab Theatre Institute in the United Arab Emirates, as part of joint efforts to support the theatrical movement and provide training and qualification opportunities for young people interested in performing arts.

He added in a statement that the project constitutes an important space for talented youth in various governorates of the Kingdom to develop their theatrical tools, acquire the necessary artistic expertise, and enhance their confidence in their creative abilities, contributing to preparing a new generation capable of participating in the Jordanian theatrical movement.

Director Maryam Oweidat oversees the implementation of the training program through a track that focuses on developing theatrical skills, refining youth talents, and enhancing the performing and creative capabilities of the participants, qualifying them to participate in theatrical activities and performances and contribute to enriching the cultural and artistic movement.
