Jordan is hosting the World Wrestling Championship for Masters and Veterans, which will take place at the Princess Sumaya Hall in the Hussein Youth City, from October 6 to October 11 next, with a wide participation of around 527 players representing 50 countries from around the world.

Hosting this global championship affirms the growing status of the Kingdom on the map of international wrestling, and the confidence it enjoys in hosting and organizing major tournaments amid the current circumstances and crises affecting the region, confirming that Jordan is a safe destination trusted by all.

It is expected that the total participants in the World Championship will reach about 3 thousand people, including participating players, their accompanying families, and fans, as the Federation has organized a tourist plan for those coming to Jordan, which includes visiting the sites of the Baptism Site, Petra, the Roman Amphitheater, and the Dead Sea.

The championship is a golden opportunity for fans and the new generation of young and youth players to recall the glory of former wrestling champions, learn about their careers and experiences, choose their sports role models, and follow in their footsteps in the journey of seeking achievement and excellence.

The competitions also highlight the health and physical aspect of the athletes' lives, who are between the ages of 35 and 60 years old, and the attention to fitness, body care, and the continuation of sports practice that accompanies their journey, in an inspiring message that confirms that age is just a number, that the passion of champions does not age, and that true glory remains present on the mat no matter how the years pass.
