The Jordan Football Association issued a press statement following the conclusion of the national team's match against Syria, which took place today Sunday at King Abdullah II Stadium in the Quweismeh area as part of preparations for participating in the 2027 Asian Cup.
The statement from the association read: "The Jordan Football Association understands the dissatisfaction expressed by the Jordanian fans and apologizes for the poor television broadcast provided by the production company for the national team's match against Syria, and for not achieving the agreed-upon viewing experience."
It added: "The association clarifies that the delay in responding to the offer submitted by the association to local channels to obtain broadcasting rights left the association with no choice but to complete the broadcasting procedures through one of the companies verified in broadcasting and television production services."
It continued: "Despite conducting the necessary technical tests before the match, a technical issue with the internet service used to transmit the signal affected the stability of the broadcast and its delivery to viewers."
The association confirmed that the purpose of the broadcasting arrangements was to ensure the match reaches the largest possible audience and that measures will be taken to address the incident and prevent its recurrence.
The association revealed that for the national team's upcoming matches against Venezuela, Indonesia, and Australia, the association has begun taking the necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure stable broadcasting and provide the viewing experience that fans are looking forward to.
The association concluded its statement: "We affirm that the Jordanian fans are the focus of our attention and that work continues to provide the best possible experience for fans both present in the stadiums and watching from behind screens."
