In light of the accelerating regional escalation, attempts have emerged to market narratives that justify targeting Jordanian territory and airspace through flimsy claims and pretexts. However, these narratives do not change a firm strategic reality: Jordan is a sovereign state, not a party to this conflict, and will not accept being turned into an arena for settling regional scores.
Any military or security cooperation between Jordan and friendly nations takes place within the framework of official agreements and arrangements, under full Jordanian sovereignty, and in a manner that serves national interests and protects the Kingdom's security. Therefore, such arrangements cannot be used as a pretext to target Jordanian territory or airspace.
Here, a fundamental question arises that cannot be ignored: If military operations are targeting objectives belonging to another party, why do their repercussions affect Jordanian territory and airspace? And why should the Kingdom's airspace become a theater for military operations that have nothing to do with Jordan?
The Jordanian position has been clear and consistent: there are no foreign bases on Jordanian soil; our bases are purely Jordanian, and sovereignty over them is Jordanian.
Consequently, any attempt to reduce any aggression against Jordan under any narrative or flimsy pretext does not change the essence of the truth, which is that targeting Jordanian territory or airspace represents a violation of the sovereignty of a state that was not a party to the war, and it is not permissible to hold it responsible for the consequences of others' conflicts.
From a strategic perspective, Jordan understands the nature of the complex regional environment and deals with it with awareness and responsibility, relying on its national capabilities and established institutions, enabling it to protect its national security and supreme interests without being dragged into conflicts that do not serve its interests.
Jordanian national security is an integrated system, national sovereignty is not a bargaining chip, and the nation's security is not a margin in regional calculations. Protecting the land and sky is a national responsibility that is not open to compromise.
In the face of attempts at disinformation and narrative-building, the Jordanian truth remains clear: Jordan protects its borders, defends its airspace, safeguards the security of its citizens, and will not allow itself to be turned into a proxy war zone or a platform for settling scores.
The current phase requires high national and strategic awareness, and avoiding being dragged behind narratives that attempt to redefine Jordan's positions or hold it responsible for conflicts it is not part of. Jordan knows its interests, realizes the scale of the challenges surrounding it, and deals with them with steadfastness and wisdom, placing its national security and sovereignty above all considerations.
All salute and appreciation to the eagles of the Royal Jordanian Air Force and the gallant men of our Arab Army, who stand on the front line defending the nation's sky, security, and sovereignty.
Jordan is not a battlefield for anyone, and it never will be.
Its land, sky, and sovereignty are red lines.
May God protect Jordan, its Hashemite leadership, its Arab Army, and its proud people, and may it remain a safe, dear, and towering homeland.
