They added that the explosions resulting from the demolition operations shook the two areas, and their sounds were heard in wide areas of the Gaza Strip, while residents and displaced people felt strong vibrations in distant areas.
The demolition operations coincided with sporadic gunfire from Israeli military vehicles stationed in areas under the control of the army within the "Yellow Line".
These developments come amid ongoing Israeli army breaches of the ceasefire agreement announced on October 10, 2025.
From time to time, the Israeli army expands the areas under its control in various parts of the Gaza Strip by removing the concrete cubes that symbolize the "Yellow Line" to the west, leading to the expansion of areas prohibited to Palestinians and pushing more residents to flee.
The Israeli army is stationed along the so-called "Yellow Line," a security strip imposed by Israel within the Gaza Strip, preventing Palestinians from approaching the surrounding areas, while it controls more than 70 percent of the area of the Strip.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health in the Strip, published on Saturday, Israeli breaches of the ceasefire agreement in effect since October 2025 have resulted in the killing of 1,390 Palestinians and the injury of 4,801 others.
Since October 8, 2023, Israel has killed nearly 74,000 Palestinians, injured about 175,000, and destroyed an estimated 90 percent of the infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.
