Irbid Youth Directorate organizes an introductory session on the El Hassan bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Work at charitable societies

The Irbid Governorate Youth Directorate organized, on Tuesday, an introductory session on the El Hassan bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Work at the headquarters of the Union of Charitable Societies in downtown Irbid, with the participation of about 30 heads and members of charitable societies in the governorate.

The session was presented by two trainers, Fatima Bataineh and Zaid Al-Dagamseh from the Irbid Governorate Youth Directorate, where they reviewed the award's vision, mission, and objectives, as well as the key updates for its fourth cycle in 2026, including the development of application and evaluation mechanisms, enhancing governance and arbitration independence, expanding participation scope, and focusing on the impact and sustainability of voluntary initiatives.

The session also addressed the award categories, fields of voluntary work, nomination conditions, application mechanism, and evaluation stages, in addition to answering inquiries from attendees, thereby enhancing their knowledge of the award and encouraging them to participate with quality voluntary initiatives that meet the needs of the local community.

This session comes within the framework of the Ministry of Youth's efforts to spread the culture of voluntary work, promote the values of citizenship and social responsibility, and motivate local community institutions to launch effective and sustainable initiatives that contribute to achieving a positive impact in society.
