Youth centers in Irbid implement introductory sessions on the Hussein bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Service

The Irbid Governorate Youth Directorate, through the Mazar Al-Shamali Youth Centers, Kafrsom Youth Center, and Northern Al-Shouna Youth Centers, implemented today, Saturday, introductory sessions on the fourth cycle of the Hussein bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Service for 2026, with the participation of 84 young men and women from the local community.

The sessions aimed to introduce the award, its vision, mission, and goals, as well as the key updates of its fourth cycle, including the development of application and evaluation mechanisms, enhancing governance and the independence of arbitration, expanding the scope of participation, and focusing on the impact and sustainability of voluntary initiatives.

The sessions addressed the award categories, fields of voluntary work, nomination conditions, application mechanisms, and evaluation stages, alongside highlighting the importance of participating in the award and its role in motivating youth to engage in volunteer work and showcase qualitative initiatives with a positive and sustainable impact.

These sessions come within the framework of the Ministry of Youth's efforts to promote the culture of voluntary work, instill the values of citizenship and social responsibility among youth, and encourage them to launch qualitative voluntary initiatives that contribute to serving the community and achieving a positive and sustainable impact.
