Arab Bank's Reflect App Offers Cryptocurrency Trading Service in Collaboration with Fuze

Reflect, the leading digital banking app from Arab Bank, recently launched a cryptocurrency trading (Crypto Trading) service in collaboration with Fuze, the leading digital asset infrastructure provider in the Middle East and North Africa, making it the first banking app in the Kingdom to offer its eligible users access to cryptocurrency trading services. The launch of the service followed a pioneering experiment, the first of its kind in Jordan, implemented within the Central Bank of Jordan's (JoRegBox) regulatory sandbox environment, with the aim of exploring the possibility of integrating digital asset services within a regulated banking app, and testing the technical, operational, and compliance aspects associated with these services.

The new service provides eligible Reflect users in Jordan with direct access to the cryptocurrency market through the app, reflecting Reflect's commitment to developing its digital services and offering innovative financial solutions that meet users' needs.

Through the cryptocurrency trading service, Reflect enables its eligible users to explore the cryptocurrency market, buy and sell accepted digital currencies, and directly monitor their investment portfolio via the app. Users can also view live prices and currency details before starting to trade, providing them with a comprehensive and easy experience. The digital currencies accepted in this service include: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Cardano (ADA), Avalanche (AVAX), Chainlink (CHAINLINK), Solana (SOL), Stellar (XLM), Ripple (XRP), and PEPE.

After registering for the service, the user can fund their account in US dollars directly from their Jordanian Dinar current account with Reflect, and start buying and selling digital currencies and monitoring their investment portfolio with ease and flexibility.

Commenting on the service, Yazan Hamdan, Head of Reflect, said: "The launch of the cryptocurrency trading service is a new step within our vision at Reflect to offer innovative financial services that meet our customers' needs and aspirations. By enabling direct cryptocurrency trading through Reflect, we aim to provide a simple and integrated experience that allows our customers to explore this field, buy and sell digital currencies, and monitor their investments within the banking environment they are accustomed to. We are pleased to collaborate with Fuze to offer this service within a regulatory environment supervised by the Central Bank of Jordan."

For his part, Mohamed Ali Yousef, CEO of Fuze, said: "This experiment represents a unique opportunity to enable Reflect customers in Jordan to access digital assets directly through the app they trust. Digital assets offer new ways to invest and manage money, but for their effective adoption, they must be available through regulated, secure, and familiar platforms for users. The Central Bank of Jordan's regulatory sandbox (JoRegBox) provides an ideal environment to test our work with the Reflect team, and we look forward to contributing to the development of the future of financial services in the Kingdom."

It is worth noting that the Reflect app enhances Arab Bank's dynamic service system by offering innovative digital banking solutions aimed at achieving a more convenient banking experience that suits customers' lifestyles. The Reflect app can be downloaded from the Apple Store, Google Play, and Huawei AppGallery.
