The Aqaba Industry and Trade Directorate obtained the International Quality Management System Certificate (ISO 9001:2015), accredited by the international entity "Bureau Veritas".
The director of the directorate, Suhaila Al-Baddour, told the Jordanian News Agency (Petra) that this achievement is the result of continuous efforts made by the directorate's staff to improve institutional performance and enhance the quality of services provided to citizens and investors.
She added that the implementation of the quality management system contributes to establishing a clear methodology for managing operations and procedures, improving performance efficiency, and enhancing the satisfaction of service recipients, in line with the directions of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to develop government services and improve their quality.
She affirmed that the directorate continues to develop its procedures and services according to quality and excellence standards, which contributes to enhancing the efficiency of government work, facilitating procedures, and supporting the investment environment in Aqaba, noting that this achievement is a motivation to continue development and achieve higher levels of performance.
