The total trading volume in the Amman Stock Exchange, on Thursday, amounted to 10.8 million Jordanian Dinars, with 7.1 million shares traded through 5494 contracts.
In terms of price levels, the general index of stock prices closed this day at 4206 points, with an increase of 0.38 percent.
Comparing the closing prices of the 115 listed companies with their previous closings, 64 companies showed an increase in their stock prices, and 28 companies showed a decrease in their stock prices.
On a sectoral level, the financial sector index rose by 0.47 percent, the services sector index by 0.30 percent, and the industry sector index by 0.25 percent.
