The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Amman Ahliya University, Dr. Arwa Al-Khatib, participated in the Bella Vita Health and Beauty Summit 2026, which was held a few days ago at the Landmark Hotel – Amman, organized by Bella Vita under the chairmanship of Dr. Faten Abu Ajamieh, and with the participation of a group of experts in the fields of health, beauty, and the pharmaceutical sector.
During her participation, Dr. Al-Khatib presented a session titled:
“Women’s Wellness Is Built Upon Metabolic Health”
In which she discussed the evolution of evidence-based drug treatment from focusing on disease treatment to a more comprehensive approach focusing on maintaining health, supporting healthy longevity, and enhancing the quality of life for women at different stages of their lives.
The summit included a number of scientific and specialized lectures, along with an exhibition of companies and institutions, which showcased the latest products, services, and trends in the fields of health and beauty.
The summit events witnessed the presence of a number of graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Amman Ahliya University among the representatives of the participating companies, reflecting the presence of the college's graduates in the labor market and their active involvement in the health and pharmaceutical sectors.
A number of students from the bachelor's and master's programs at the Faculty of Pharmacy also participated in the summit events, within the framework of the college's keenness to enhance its students' communication with scientific and professional events, and to provide opportunities for interaction, exchange of experiences, and building bridges of communication with institutions working in the sector.
