Al-Qatamin Meets with Truck Owners and Affirms Support for Land Transport Sector

The Minister of Transport and Labor, Dr. Nidal Al-Qatamin, during his meeting today, Tuesday, with a number of truck owners, discussed the most prominent issues and challenges facing the cargo transport sector, along with a number of demands related to the sector's work.
Al-Qatamin, during the meeting attended by the Director General of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, Engineer Riyad Al-Kharabisheh, listened to the observations and demands of truck owners, and discussed with them the most prominent challenges they face, affirming the Ministry's keenness to follow up on them and work to find appropriate solutions in coordination with the concerned authorities.
He emphasized the importance of the cargo transport sector and its role in supporting the movement of trade and the national economy, and the necessity of dealing with the challenges and demands presented to improve the working environment in the sector and enhance the efficiency of the land transport system.
He stressed the importance of continuing direct communication with those working in the transport sector, listening to their observations and suggestions, which enhances the partnership between the Ministry and the sector's representatives and supports the development of the land transport system.
