Speakers: The Hashemite leadership is a source of pride for Jordanians, and its positions are appreciated at the Arab and international levels
Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court, Yousef Hassan Al-Issawi, met on Thursday with a delegation from the Habashneh tribes at the Royal Hashemite Court.
Al-Issawi stated that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, has proven, amidst the accelerating crises witnessed in the region, its ability to maintain its steadfastness, positions, and national interests, relying on established institutions, a cohesive people, and a leadership that deals with challenges with wisdom and responsibility.
He pointed out that His Majesty the King's speech before the United Nations General Assembly reaffirmed Jordan's image, status, and principles, and solidified its position in protecting its sovereignty, borders, interests, and independent national decision-making, emphasizing that any threat to Jordan's security, borders, and water interests affects its national security.
Al-Issawi affirmed that Palestine and Jerusalem will remain at the heart of the Royal effort, and that Jordan is steadfast in its defense of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, its rejection of any solutions that diminish these rights or come at the expense of Jordan and its interests, in addition to its adherence to the Hashemite Custodianship of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.
He noted that the region's crises have not stopped Jordan's path of modernization and construction, and that the Jordanian citizen is the essence of the national project led by His Majesty the King, while the success of modernization plans is measured by the impact they have on the lives of citizens and the opportunities they provide for youth.
For their part, the speakers emphasized that the crises and tensions witnessed in the region have demonstrated the importance of His Majesty the King's wisdom in managing state affairs, considering that His Majesty's leadership of Jordan amidst these circumstances has provided the nation with the ability to deal with challenges and protect its interests, security, and stability. They pointed out that Jordan enters crises cohesive and emerges from them with greater ability to continue the path of construction.
The speakers cited His Majesty the King's speech before the United Nations General Assembly, confirming that it carried Jordan's position frankly and clearly to the international community, and expressed the Kingdom's commitment to peace, while at the same time asserting its right to protect its borders, security, and interests, in addition to defending Palestinian rights and warning of the repercussions of the expansion of the conflict in the region.
They said that the strength of the Jordanian position derives its most important aspect from His Majesty the King's closeness to the citizens and his keenness to follow up on their issues and needs in various governorates, confirming that the citizen has remained at the forefront of Royal concern, and that field visits and direct meetings reflect an approach based on knowing priorities from their owners and following up on translating them into programs and projects.
They expressed their pride in His Majesty the King and the status that Jordan and its leadership enjoy at the Arab and international levels, confirming that what unites Jordanians with their Hashemite leadership is a deep-rooted value inherited from their fathers and grandfathers, and is not a position linked to a circumstance or occasion.
The speakers also valued the role of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, his closeness to the youth, his interest in their issues and ambitions, and the attention he pays to education, skills, and the future of new generations.
They praised the role of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah and her efforts in the fields of education, family, childhood, and women's empowerment, and her active presence in international forums.
They also expressed their pride in the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army and the security services, and their role in safeguarding the nation's security and stability and protecting its achievements, confirming that the security and stability Jordan enjoys is the fruit of the combined efforts of its institutions and the awareness of its people under the Hashemite leadership.
The speakers valued the Royal initiatives that His Majesty the King directed to be implemented in Karak Governorate, and what they included in terms of development and service projects and programs in a number of sectors, foremost among them tourism, agriculture, and health, in addition to initiatives aimed at developing the level of services provided to the people of the governorate.
They confirmed that these projects reflect His Majesty's interest in the needs of the governorates and his keenness to translate local priorities into tangible projects whose effects are reflected in the lives of citizens.
In this context, they pointed to the attention Karak has witnessed recently regarding a number of projects and programs, including those related to developing the tourism sector and supporting the health sector, in addition to the contributions of national institutions and companies in implementing and supporting projects that serve the people of the governorate.
During the meeting, the speakers addressed a number of issues and demands that concern the members of the Habashneh tribes and their areas of residence, especially in Karak Governorate, which included in their general framework service and development issues, job opportunities, and youth needs, in addition to a number of topics related to local communities, emphasizing the importance of following up on them and addressing them within the framework of available priorities and capabilities.
