The Director of Education for the Ramtha District, Dr. Faisal Al-Hawamdeh, met with representatives from the World Bank in his office - as part of the School Education Digitalization program, in the presence of the Director of Educational Affairs, Dr. Imad Al-Na'manah.
Al-Hawamdeh said that the visit aims to evaluate the experience of the school textbook digitalization project, which began implementation last year at the Muhyi Al-Din Ibn Arabi School as a pilot sample among a group of schools in the northern region, to assess its success and discuss the most prominent obstacles and suggestions during a year of implementation.
The visit included a meeting with teachers from the Muhyi Al-Din Ibn Arabi School / the sample of the experiment, students, and their parents, with the aim of monitoring feedback and ensuring the success of the project.
Al-Hawamdeh explained that the Directorate, in cooperation with Google, implemented a training course targeting teachers of core subjects at the school, such as Arabic, English, Mathematics, and Sciences for the grades covered by the experiment, to introduce Google educational tools, stemming from the Directorate's keenness on the necessity of integrating modern knowledge tools in education and keeping pace with the labor market with ease and simplicity, considering that such skills have become a basic requirement in most jobs in the labor market, institutes, and universities today.
