At least 8 passengers were killed on Wednesday, and 32 others—including women and children—were injured when a passenger bus overturned after colliding with a barrier on a highway in the Rajanpur district of Punjab province, Pakistan.
The Associated Press of Pakistan, citing local sources, reported that the accident occurred near the "Bangla Hidayat" area, as the bus—traveling from Karachi to Dera Ghazi Khan—hit the barrier, and rescue teams immediately launched operations to transport the victims' bodies and evacuate the injured.
