270 players in the third phase of the "Future Teams" project to discover Jordanian football talents

The Jordan Football Association held the third phase of the Future Teams project, with the participation of 270 players born in 2012, 2013, and 2014, as part of its ongoing efforts to discover and monitor promising talents, in preparation for supplying national teams and clubs with distinguished players.

The phase witnessed the holding of 9 matches, with 3 matches for each age group, with the participation of teams from the governorates of the Capital, Irbid, and Zarqa. Matches for those born in 2012 were held at the Association's pitches in Amman, those born in 2013 at Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa, while matches for those born in 2014 were held at Al-Karmel Stadium in Irbid.

The participating players were distributed equally across the three age groups, with 90 players from each center, and an average of 30 players per category, with the aim of identifying the most talented players, recognizing their potential and appropriate playing positions, in addition to providing them with competitive experience from tactical, mental, and physical aspects.

The phase was held under the supervision and follow-up of the Association's Technical Director, Abdelhay Ben Sultan, amidst remarkable interaction from the players' parents.

The implementation of the Future Teams project comes within the framework of the Association's keenness to follow up on talents in young age groups, and to facilitate the process of selecting players according to their potential and positions, which supports the work of the national teams' technical staff and contributes to preparing a promising generation for Jordanian football.
