The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission revealed that the number of prepaid 5G subscriptions within mobile broadband services reached 217.73 thousand during the first quarter of 2026.
The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission explained through the statistics it announced that prepaid 5G subscriptions within mobile broadband services formed a series of numerical increases during the quarterly periods extending from the first quarter of 2025 until the same period of the current year.
In the same context, the Commission's statistics showed that the number of these subscriptions reached about 120.89 thousand in the first quarter of last year, reaching over 139.38 thousand in the second quarter, while their number rose in the third quarter to exceed 153.16 thousand, and recorded about 171.53 thousand in the last quarter of that year, rising in the first quarter of the current year to reach 217.73 thousand.
It is worth noting that the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission's statistics also revealed that the total number of 5G subscriptions within mobile broadband services reached about 433.42 thousand in the first quarter of this year.
