The quantities of vegetables that arrived at the Central Wholesale Market of the Greater Amman Municipality today, Tuesday, reached 1972 tons, while the quantity of fruits reached 899 tons and leafy greens 226 tons.
According to the Central Market bulletin and the price list of items that arrived today, based on the lowest and highest price per kilogram, the price of Navel oranges ranged between 60-85 piasters, Ajami black eggplant 10-25 piasters, dry onions 20-40 piasters, potatoes 30-60 piasters, tomatoes 8-15 piasters, carrots 15-30 piasters, lettuce 15-25 piasters, spinach 50-60 piasters, cucumbers 25-45 piasters, corn 25-55 piasters, cauliflower 15-50 piasters, olives 75-170 piasters, zucchini 50-75 piasters, lemons 40-80 piasters, cabbage 25-30 piasters, and local bananas 50-65 piasters.
