The Charity Clothing Bank, a department of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), concluded its mobile showroom in Aqaba Governorate as part of the "Deeratna" program, following two days of providing services to eligible families.
According to the bank's statement today, Tuesday, the showroom was held last Sunday and Monday at the Aqaba Gulf Club halls, in cooperation with the Jordan National Red Crescent Society – Aqaba branch, the "Leave a Mark" initiative, and hosted by the Aqaba Gulf Club.
The showroom benefited 423 families comprising 1,929 individuals, while 10,068 pieces of clothing were distributed, allowing families to choose what meets their members' needs within an organized environment that preserves the dignity of the beneficiaries.
The initiative comes as part of the bank's efforts to reach eligible families in various governorates of the Kingdom, alleviate their living burdens, and enhance social solidarity by delivering donations to those who deserve them.
The bank continues to implement the "Deeratna" program in the governorates, in parallel with the services of its two permanent showrooms in Amman and Karak, with the aim of expanding the scope of benefit and enhancing the sustainability of its humanitarian services.
The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization and the Charity Clothing Bank valued the efforts of partners, volunteers, and donors, and their role in the success of the initiative and the continued provision of services to eligible families.
