The value of electronic payment transactions executed through the "CliQ" system in Jordan increased by more than 58% during the first nine months of the current year, reaching 18.99 billion dinars, compared to the same period last year.
According to "JoPACC" data monitored by Al-Mamlaka, the number of transactions executed through the system increased by 31% during the period from the beginning of the year until the end of last September, reaching 185.49 million transactions.
According to the latest data, the number of CliQ system users reached 2.37 million individual users and 65.4 thousand business users.
As for the data for last September, the total number of transactions during that month reached 23.31 million, a decrease of 2.9% from the preceding month of August, and recorded a financial value that reached 2.34 billion dinars, a decrease of 3.5%.
The average value of outgoing transfer transactions from banks during last September reached 100 dinars.
