Wide participation in the Taekwondo "Children's Promotional" Championship

The Kingdom's Promotional Taekwondo Championship for children, organized yesterday by the federation at the Arena Hall in Al-Hussein Youth City in cooperation with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation to support the center's patients, witnessed the participation of (100) male and female players from various clubs and centers.

The championship comes within the framework of the federation's keenness to enhance its social and humanitarian role, and to instill the values of giving and solidarity in the emerging generations by combining sports practice with charitable work, and providing an opportunity for children to participate in a competitive atmosphere that contributes to developing their athletic skills.

The Abu Libdeh children's team topped the general ranking with 8 gold, 9 silver, and 8 bronze medals. The Al-Fares team (under 11) came in second place, achieving 3 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze medals, while Al-Quwa came third with one gold, two silvers, and one bronze, and Al-Usoud (under 11) came fourth with one gold, one silver, and 3 bronze medals.

The championship embodies a model of cooperation between sports and humanitarian institutions, and contributes to directing children's energies towards sports and enhancing their participation in initiatives that have humanitarian and social dimensions.
