Two sessions for "Karak Youth" to launch voluntary initiatives

The Karak Governorate Youth Directorate held two sessions dedicated to registering voluntary initiatives, in cooperation with the Directorate of Tourism and Antiquities and the Directorate of Environment, as part of efforts to enhance participation in the fourth edition of the Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Work for the year 2026.

The two sessions aimed to support participants in registering their voluntary initiatives and completing the required data via the award's website, and to clarify the application mechanism and registration requirements, contributing to documenting initiatives and highlighting their positive impact on serving the local community.

The two sessions focused on the importance of developing voluntary initiatives in the environmental and tourism fields, and encouraging individuals and institutions to launch qualitative and sustainable initiatives that contribute to preserving the environment, enhancing tourism awareness, and serving the local community.

These efforts, according to the Youth Directorate, come within the Ministry of Youth's plan aimed at consolidating the culture of voluntary work, empowering individuals and institutions to participate effectively in community initiatives, and inviting them to register and participate in the Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Work, in a way that enhances the values of social responsibility and national belonging and achieves a sustainable developmental impact.
