The Russian Central Bank announced on Friday a reduction in the official exchange rate of the ruble against the US dollar, with the dollar price rising by about 8 kopecks, reaching approximately 84 rubles, according to the official prices set for major currencies against the ruble.
The Russian Central Bank stated in a press release that the euro exchange rate reached about 98 rubles after rising by about 11 kopecks, while the Chinese yuan increased by about 2 kopecks to reach nearly 13 rubles, according to the new official exchange rates.
