The agreement was signed by the Deputy Chairman and CEO of Royal Jordanian, Engineer Samer Al-Majali, and the President of the Jordan Basketball Federation, Yazan Al-Ma'aser, in the presence of a number of officials from both sides.

Al-Majali affirmed Royal Jordanian's pride in continuing the partnership with the Federation, pointing to the importance of sports in representing Jordan and showcasing the capabilities of its youth, and affirming the company's keenness to support and stand by national teams during their international participations.

He said that the agreement comes in line with the national and social responsibility of Royal Jordanian, expressing his aspiration to continue cooperation in a way that serves Jordanian sports.

For his part, Al-Ma'aser expressed his appreciation for the renewed partnership with Royal Jordanian, affirming that its continuation reflects the mutual confidence in the importance of sports and its role in enhancing Jordan's presence at local, regional, and international levels.

He said that the Federation appreciates the support provided by Royal Jordanian to basketball, considering that the partnership between the two institutions adds value to the game and is a motivation to continue working, developing, and achieving more achievements.

The agreement comes at a time when Jordanian basketball is preparing for a number of important commitments, foremost of which is the participation of the men's national team in the fifth and sixth windows of the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup finals–Qatar 2027 where “Eagles of Jordan” aspires to qualify for the World Cup for the third consecutive time and the fourth in the history of Jordanian basketball.

The upcoming phase also includes the participation of national teams in continental championships on the agenda of the Asian Basketball Federation for different age groups and for women, alongside local tournaments and competitions, to enhance the base of the game and support its development journey.
