Royal Jordanian and the Jordanian Basketball Federation Renew Sponsorship Agreement for National Teams

This agreement is a confirmation of the strategic partnership between the two parties, stemming from the belief in the importance of sports in empowering youth and promoting national achievements, as well as supporting national teams in their various international participations.

The CEO of Royal Jordanian Airlines, Engineer Samer Majali, said: "We are proud to continue our partnership with the Jordanian Basketball Federation, believing in the important role that sports plays in representing Jordan and showcasing the capabilities of its youth at various levels. This agreement confirms Royal Jordanian Airlines' commitment to supporting national teams and accompanying them on their journey to achieve more achievements, in line with our national and community responsibilities. For his part, the President of the Jordanian Basketball Federation, Yazan Al-Ma'aytah, expressed his appreciation and pride in the renewed partnership with Royal Jordanian Airlines, affirming that the continuation of this partnership reflects mutual confidence in the importance of sports and its role in enhancing Jordan's presence at local, regional, and international levels, pointing out: "We are pleased in the Jordanian Basketball Federation to renew the partnership agreement with Royal Jordanian Airlines, and we highly value this continuous support provided by the company to Jordanian basketball, which embodies its belief in the ability of sports to create success and enhance Jordan's image.

Al-Ma'aytah added, "We appreciate this partnership that brings together two Jordanian institutions carrying a shared national message, and we believe that its continuation adds value to the Jordanian basketball system, giving us greater motivation to continue working, developing, and achieving more achievements, and we look forward to establishing this partnership for many years to come to serve Jordanian basketball and enhance its presence."

Jordanian basketball awaits many important official commitments in the coming phase, most notably the participation of the national men's team in the fifth and sixth windows of the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup finals - Qatar 2027, where the 'Hawks of Jordan' aspire to secure their place in the World Cup for the third consecutive time and the fourth in the history of Jordanian basketball.

The upcoming commitments also include the participation of national teams in continental championships on the agenda of the Asian Basketball Federation, at the level of age groups and women, in addition to continuing to organize local tournaments and competitions for various age groups and genders, to enhance the base of the game and support its development journey at all levels.
