"Ramtha" Awaits "Maher"'s Card

Ramtha Club is waiting for the arrival of international defender Hijazi Maher's card to complete the registration procedures in the first football team as an amateur player after the end of the local player registration period, as part of the northern club's efforts to strengthen its defensive capabilities with elements capable of making an addition.

Maher, who is 29 years old, previously represented Al-Ahly, Shabab Al-Ordon, Al-Hussein, and Al-Faisaly clubs, in addition to two professional experiences with Zakho Iraqi and East Bengal Indian, and alongside that, he represented the national teams at all age categories.

The Ramtha technical staff, led by Croatian Radion Gasnine, is counting on Maher to make a real contribution to the team's capabilities in the back line, and his presence is expected to create a higher atmosphere for the backline players who have shown outstanding levels this season.

Ramtha, which shares the top of the overall standings of the Professional League teams with Al-Faisaly with a score of 7 points after three rounds, has previously strengthened its ranks with a number of local and foreign players, to compensate for the influential elements that the team lost before the start of the season.

The club's fans hope that the team will continue its outstanding performances in the upcoming events, and prove its presence as a contender for titles, and capable of proving its presence among the big names in Jordanian football despite the difficult circumstances it went through during the preparation period.
