Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Qurtulmush said on Saturday that Israel's primary goal is to ignite strife among the region's peoples to fight each other, to achieve its plan for the Promised Land.
Qurtulmush emphasized that Israel should not "chase after empty dreams" because Turkey is working to "unite the region and move forward".
This was stated in a speech by Qurtulmush during his meeting with representatives of civil society organizations and opinion leaders in Kırşehir province in central Turkey, which he visited on the occasion of the celebrations of the 39th "Akhi Week".
The "Akhi system" dates back to the Seljuk and then the Ottoman era, and is based on professionally qualifying the Anatolian people in the fields of trade, arts, and the economy, raising trainees on good moral values, and providing job opportunities.
Qurtulmush pointed out that the ongoing conflicts in the geography where Turkey is located have turned the region into a battlefield.
He pointed out that Israel considers the peoples of the region to be hostile within the framework of the 'Promised Land' plans.
Qurtulmush mentioned that Israel has launched attacks in the past few years on Palestine, primarily Gaza and the West Bank, and on Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and Qatar.
He affirmed that "Israel's primary goal is to ignite strife among the peoples of this region to fight each other, to achieve its plan for the Promised Land".
Qurtulmush added: "We say it very clearly: Israel should not chase after empty dreams, as we, as Turkey, will work to unite this region and move forward".
He stressed that terrorist organizations are one of the most important tools used by imperialist countries, primarily Israel.
He said: "If they want division and fragmentation, we want unity and integration. If they want dispersion, we want to unite".
Qurtulmush explained that the 'Turkey without terrorism' path is not only for Turkey but for the entire region, affirming that the time has come to "unite our scattered parts".
He pointed out that dividing the region into ethnic and sectarian components, such as Turks, Kurds, Arabs, Persians, and others, will not benefit anyone.
He continued: "Even the non-Muslim components in this region are parts of our scattered heritage. It is possible to gather all of them, with God's permission, around a common destiny and common goals, and we will continue on our way".
Qurtulmush emphasized the importance of solidarity and unity among the peoples of the region, saying: "Just as we believe that there is no separate destiny for the Turk apart from the Kurd, and no future for the Kurd apart from the Turk in these lands, and just as we believe that Sunni and Alevi are integral parts of each other, we also know that there are many parties that are doing their best to disperse these and others".
He added that "the only strength" of the region's peoples is unity, cohesion, and the ability to fortify the internal front.
Qurtulmush pointed out that Turkey has embarked on an "irreversible" path towards peace, brotherhood, and tranquility, affirming that anyone who stands against this path will be the "loser".
