Nursing College at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan Receives American Accreditation (ACEN)

In a qualitative academic achievement that adds to the record of achievements of Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, the Nursing College at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan has obtained international accreditation for the Bachelor of Nursing program from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing – ACEN, in a step that reflects the advanced level reached by the college in the fields of education quality, training, academic and professional practices.
The ACEN accreditation is one of the most prominent and important international accreditations specialized in nursing education, as it confirms the fulfillment of academic programs of global quality standards in nursing education, and enhances the position of the Nursing College at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan at both local and international levels, contributing to the preparation of qualified nursing cadres who possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to practice the profession according to the best global standards.
Dean of the College, Dr. Hassan Abu Al-Ruz, confirmed that obtaining this accreditation represents the fruit of continuous institutional efforts, based on systematic planning, comprehensive preparation, diligent teamwork, and the concerted efforts of all college staff, which contributed to fulfilling the accreditation requirements and achieving this qualitative achievement.
He explained that the college has worked over the past period to develop the nursing education and training system, by providing the latest training tools and facilities based on simulation, virtual reality, and modern technology, alongside the development of study plans according to the latest international references and standards, in line with the developments in the nursing profession and the needs of the labor market, in cooperation with experts and related sectors.
He pointed out that this accreditation represents an important milestone in the journey of the Nursing College, reflecting its continuous commitment to academic excellence and professional development, affirming the continuation of work to enhance the outputs of education and training to strengthen the readiness of college graduates to work efficiently and competently at local, regional, and international levels.
