Ministry of Education: No equivalency for high school diplomas issued by the Khartoum Advanced International School in Egypt

The Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development confirmed on Thursday that the Khartoum Advanced International School located in the Arab Republic of Egypt, which claims to teach the American curriculum, is not accredited, has not obtained the necessary official approvals, and has not been issued any official license to teach the American curriculum.

The Ministry clarified that it will not grant equivalency to any high school diploma issued by this school, stressing that it will not be lenient in applying the conditions for the equivalency of non-Jordanian high school diplomas.

The Ministry added that Paragraph (A) of Article (10) of the effective High School Diploma Equivalency Regulation states that "the certificate holder must provide proof of residence in the country of study with one or both parents, or a legal guardian, or obtain a no-objection certificate from the Jordanian embassy or cultural attaché to enroll in studies in the country of study." Paragraph 2 of Article 7 also states: "It is required that the school granting the certificate be duly licensed and recognized by its country of origin and the authority responsible for education in the country of study."

The Ministry urged students and their families to adhere to these instructions to avoid incurring losses in time, effort, and money without obtaining the equivalency certificate as a result of violating these conditions.
