Bani Mustafa's visit to the center included the inauguration of two halls for physical fitness and handicrafts affiliated with the center, in addition to a tour of the center's facilities, which include physical therapy and psychosocial support units, educational and training programs provided to persons with disabilities, as well as the kindergarten affiliated with the center.

Bani Mustafa stated that persons with disabilities receive high royal attention through the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II to provide them with all means of care and attention according to best practices. She pointed to His Majesty's patronage of the third Global Disability Summit in Berlin last year, noting that the Amman-Berlin Declaration issued by it formed a comprehensive human rights framework to enhance the participation of persons with disabilities and a significant milestone in the journey of advancing their rights.

She emphasized the ministry's continuous efforts to establish early intervention centers and comprehensive day-care centers for persons with disabilities, within the framework of the government's commitment to expanding services and programs provided to them across the Kingdom. This contributes to consolidating the approach of integration and empowerment within the system of inclusive shelter alternatives, which includes prevention, rehabilitation, community integration, family counseling, occupational and physical therapy services, in addition to developing life skills for persons with disabilities to enhance their independence and ability to integrate into society.

Bani Mustafa also expressed her appreciation for the role of the private sector in supporting social programs provided to the most needy social groups, including persons with disabilities, within the framework of the social responsibility undertaken by this sector. She indicated that cooperation and partnership between the public, private, and voluntary sectors constitute a fundamental pillar in providing services to persons with disabilities.

For his part, the center's director, Awad Al-Asmar, reviewed the programs implemented by the center, valuing the Minister of Social Development's visit. He pointed to the importance of the services and programs provided by the Ministry of Social Development to persons with disabilities, especially the expansion of early intervention centers and inclusive day-care service centers across the Kingdom, which contributes to enhancing their rights and providing the necessary support to ensure their full integration into all aspects of life.

Bani Mustafa was accompanied on her visit to the center by a number of ministry officials, in the presence of the center's honorary president, Bashar Al-Hawamdeh, the head of the Al-Wehdat Camp Improvement Committee, Abdul Fattah Al-Kouz, and a number of supporters and representatives of social bodies in Al-Wehdat Camp.
