Leading the World Rankings

With this medal, Khattab maintained his lead in the world rankings for the under 97 kg weight category.

This achievement comes within the framework of the preparation and international participation program implemented by the Jordan Paralympic Committee to raise the readiness level of national teams and their athletes, and to enhance their ability to compete in international championships, as part of an integrated vision aimed at sustained achievement and reaching the highest levels of global competition.

Regarding this achievement, the President of the Paralympic Committee, Prof. Dr. Omar Hindawi, emphasized that Khattab's maintenance of the world ranking lead represents an important result of the continuous institutional work carried out by the Committee in preparing and qualifying its champions, noting that the achievement is inseparable from an integrated system that includes technical planning, preparation programs, international participation, and continuous monitoring of athletes' levels.

Hindawi stated that the Committee views sports achievements as a sustainable path rather than immediate results, confirming continued work to develop the national team system and provide preparation and competition requirements for athletes, which enhances Jordan's presence in continental and international championships and lays the foundation for further achievements in the coming phase.

Hindawi praised the performance delivered by Khattab and the efforts of the technical and medical staff accompanying the team, confirming that maintaining the lead in the world rankings reflects the advanced level reached by Jordanian Para Powerlifting and translates the efforts of teamwork within the Committee and the national team.
