In this context, the Chairman of the Club's Administrative Board, Dr. Samer Al-Majali, said that the crime witnessed in Hamoud village represents a blatant attack on human sanctity and the holiness of places of worship, and a violation of the religious and human values that unite Jordanians, confirming that targeting the innocent will not change a firm truth in the conscience of the nation's people, which is that their national unity is stronger than all attempts at strife and division.
Al-Majali added that the affliction of the people of Hamoud and Karak is the affliction of every Jordanian, and that standing by the families of the martyrs and the injured is a national and humanitarian duty, stressing that the cohesion of Jordanians in this painful moment is the strongest response to anyone who tries to harm the security of the homeland or undermine its unity, and that rallying around the Hashemite leadership and trusting the efforts of the security services constitute a fundamental pillar in protecting Jordan and safeguarding its stability.
For his part, the Club Director, Dr. Bassam Al-Maaytah, condemned this treacherous criminal attack, confirming that it contradicts the morals and authentic values of Jordanians, and aims to spread fear among citizens and undermine the state of security and brotherhood that characterizes Jordanian society. He pointed out that such acts, no matter how heinous, will not undermine the will of Jordanians or shake their confidence in their homeland and institutions.
Al-Maaytah explained that confronting extremist ideology and criminal behavior requires a unified national stance, based on rallying around the Hashemite leadership and supporting the efforts of the security services in pursuing those involved and bringing them to justice, in parallel with intensifying awareness, educational, and community efforts, and consolidating a culture of dialogue, moderation, and acceptance of the other, which enhances the immunity of society and preserves Jordan's security and stability.
In turn, the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Education Directorate for the Southern Mazar District, and Chair of the Culture and Women's Affairs Committee, Dr. Etemad Al-Jaafrah, affirmed that targeting the innocent in places of worship does not only affect the victims and their families, but also touches the human values that unite Jordanians, and calls for strengthening national and educational efforts to protect generations from hate speech and intolerance.
She stressed that the school, the family, and women constitute fundamental pillars in building awareness and consolidating moderation and national belonging, and that the responsibility of educational institutions is not limited to providing knowledge, but extends to building a balanced personality that possesses the ability to think consciously, respects differences, rejects intolerance, and believes that human dignity is protected and that inclusive citizenship is the basis of social unity.
Al-Jaafrah added that confronting destructive ideas begins with building proactive awareness that fortifies the minds of students, instills in them the values of tolerance, coexistence, and mutual respect, and enhances their sense of responsibility towards their homeland and society, confirming that conscious education is not just an educational process, but a national and moral responsibility that contributes to protecting generations and safeguarding the social fabric from everything that threatens it. She also called for strengthening the role of the school and the family in developing a culture of dialogue and acceptance of the other, and consolidating the concept of citizenship based on rights, duties, and respect for human dignity.
The Club's Administrative Board concluded its position by affirming that Karak will remain a title for dignity, chivalry, and national cohesion, that the blood of the innocent martyrs will increase the Jordanians' adherence to their unity and loyalty to their homeland, and that attempts to sow discord will find in Jordan nothing but firm national awareness and an inclusive will that rejects violence and intolerance, adheres to the rule of law, and rallies around the Hashemite leadership, to preserve the security and stability of the homeland and safeguard the dignity of all its people.
