The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced the death of a Jordanian citizen, may God have mercy on him, and the injury of four Jordanian citizens as a result of the brutal attack on King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, yesterday.

The official spokesperson for the Ministry, Ambassador Daifallah Al-Fayez, explained that the Ministry, through the Operations Directorate and the Jordanian Embassy in Riyadh, is following up on the conditions of the injured citizens in coordination with the relevant Saudi authorities to provide them with the necessary medical care, provide all the assistance and support they need, and secure the transfer of the deceased's body, may God have mercy on him, to the Kingdom. He indicated that the Jordanian Ambassador in Riyadh visited the injured to check on their health conditions and assess their needs, noting that two citizens have been discharged from the hospital, while two female citizens remain in the hospital to receive treatment, and that the embassy will continue to follow up on their conditions and provide all necessary forms of assistance and support to them.

Al-Fayez reiterated Jordan's condemnation of the attacks launched by the Houthi militia on the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its civilians, and its civilian and economic facilities, and Jordan's absolute solidarity with Saudi Arabia, standing with it in all steps it takes to protect its security, stability, resources, and the safety of its citizens and residents.

He valued the efforts of the Saudi authorities and their cooperation in providing medical care and attention to the injured Jordanian citizens.

Al-Fayez expressed his deepest condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased, asking God Almighty to cover him with His vast mercy and grant his family patience and solace, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
