The Irbid Governorate Youth Directorate, through the Beit Ras Youth and Young Women's Center and the Deir Abi Saeed Young Women's Center, and in cooperation with a number of educational institutions, conducted introductory sessions on the fourth cycle of the Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Service for the year 2026, with the participation of 38 male and female teachers and 60 young women from the Al-Samt Secondary Mixed School for Girls, in the presence of the administrations of both schools and the teaching staff.

The award ambassadors, Ghaith Al-Safadi and Amer Al-Taani, and the award ambassadors, Dima Al-Shuraida and Yasmin Al-Shuraida, spoke about the award's goals, vision, mission, pillars, fields of voluntary work, nomination conditions, electronic registration and application mechanism, and evaluation stages, in addition to the most prominent updates of the fourth cycle, which focuses on the impact and sustainability of voluntary initiatives and the promotion of community participation.

The sessions also provided an opportunity to answer participants' inquiries and clarify the opportunities provided by the award, contributing to encouraging teachers and youth to participate actively, and enabling educational cadres to guide students toward purposeful voluntary initiatives.

These sessions come within the Ministry of Youth's efforts to spread the culture of voluntary work, enhance the values of citizenship and social responsibility, and encourage youth and educational institutions to launch qualitative initiatives that contribute to serving the community and achieving a sustainable positive impact.
