An international event organized by the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority in cooperation with Balloons Over Rum and specialized European clubs, with the participation of about 16 skydivers, a paramotor pilot, a photographer, and a specialist from European countries.
The program, which continues until the 10th of the current month, combines free skydiving from balloons, paramotor flying, aerial photography, amidst the desert nature and rock formations of Wadi Rum.
The program also includes a visit by participants to the city of Aqaba, to introduce its tourist attractions and link the adventure experience in Rum with tourist experiences in the city.
Tourism and Youth Commissioner Dr. Thabet Hassan Al-Nabulsi confirmed that hosting the event supports diversifying tourist experiences and attracting those interested in adventure tourism and sports, pointing to the authority's aspiration to develop it into an annual event with international participation, and opening the door to new services and investments linked to aerial sports.
