Jordanian society, historically and realistically, is a solidly cohesive society; its Muslims and Christians are brothers in blood and soil, and their unity is a national one that no wind can shake. However, there are those who always seek to distort this bright picture. So, what is the way to cleanse minds and eradicate this obscurantist ideology? The process begins from ground zero; a newborn child is born with a natural disposition, knowing neither extremist religion nor hateful fanaticism. Here, the primary role falls to the home and family as the first line of defense in instilling concepts of love and humanity. Then comes the school, which bears the responsibility of presenting bright models for the nation, necessitating that the Ministry of Education periodically and continuously review curricula to be fully aligned with the Amman Message and human rights principles. As for universities, they were never just halls for blind indoctrination, but are beacons of enlightened thought and responsible freedom. From this standpoint, lectures and national subjects must focus on the student to be a living model of open Jordanian thought and capable of positive interaction with various work environments in the future. As for civil society institutions, they must be an incubator for directing youth energies toward production and creativity, and protecting them from fragmentation and falling into the clutches of intellectual traps and loss.
Here, the role of the state with all its ministries and institutions prevails, as one cannot speak of true institutional integration away from the energies of youth. When we immerse youth in the heart of initiatives and economic development, especially amidst technological development and super-intelligence, we block the path to every destructive ideology. To our security services, we say: you are the safety valve, and we fully trust your vigilance and professionalism. May God have mercy on the martyrs of the nation. We bet on all wise Jordanians for cohesion and national unity, because the future is more beautiful, so that Jordan may always and forever remain that warm den that we boast of before nations under the presence of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, may God protect him.
