Head of the Trauma Team at the Medical City: 8 injured in the Karak shooting incident transferred to the hospital

He explained that he re-evaluated the injured, noting that he oversaw the evacuation of one of them by plane, due to the need for rapid transport to Al-Hussein Medical City.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Majdi Al-Harasis, had directed on Friday, under royal directives, the Director General of the Royal Medical Services to evacuate those injured in the incident to Al-Hussein Medical City.

Prince Ali bin Al-Hussein Military Hospital received 26 injured, 8 of whom were transferred to Al-Hussein Medical City by a Royal Jordanian Air Force helicopter, while 3 cases were transferred to a private hospital, according to the Director General of the Royal Medical Services.

The Director General indicated that 8 injured people are still receiving treatment at the hospital, while two have been discharged after receiving the necessary treatment.

The Armed Forces affirmed that all available medical resources are being utilized to provide support and assistance to citizens, and to deal with cases with efficiency and professionalism, as part of their constant readiness to perform their humanitarian and national duties.
