Handball Federation Assesses Promising Centers and Development Methods

The Handball Federation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Jordanian School Sports Federation, held a workshop dedicated to promising centers, during which the work of the centers over the past phase 2025 - 2026 was evaluated.

During the evaluation, technical, administrative, and organizational aspects were discussed, as well as ways to develop mechanisms for discovering and honing talents in various regions of the Kingdom. The most important technical and organizational aspects of the upcoming phase 2026 - 2027 and the objectives to be achieved were also reviewed.

Dr. Tayseer Al-Mansi, President of the Federation, confirmed that the promising centers project, with direct support from the Olympic Committee, represents one of the most important strategic projects for the Federation, considering it the main source for discovering talents at early age stages and qualifying them, leading to the reinforcement of clubs and national teams with new generations of players.

Al-Mansi pointed out that the success of the project was clearly reflected in the national teams, as many players discovered and trained through the promising centers have become key elements in the teams, emphasizing the importance of building on these results and continuing to develop the project.

He stressed the necessity of benefiting from the evaluation results and addressing the challenges, unifying efforts between the Federation, the Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Education, the School Federation, clubs, coaches, and supervisors, alongside expanding the base of talent discovery in schools and various regions of the Kingdom.

The workshop comes within the Handball Federation's strategy to develop the game's base, strengthen partnership with the Ministry of Education and the School Federation, and long-term investment in promising talents, ensuring the continuity of reinforcing national teams and clubs with qualified players capable of representing Jordanian handball in upcoming events.
