The President of the Federation, Dr. Tayseer Al-Mansi, confirmed that the promising centers project, with direct support from the Olympic Committee, represents one of the most important strategic projects for the Federation, considering it the main source for discovering talents at early age groups and qualifying them, leading to the supply of clubs and national teams with new generations of players.
Al-Mansi pointed out that the success of the project was clearly reflected in the national teams, as many players who were discovered and trained through the promising centers have become key elements in the teams, emphasizing the importance of building on these results and continuing to develop the project.
He stressed the need to benefit from the evaluation results and address the challenges, and to unite efforts between the Federation, the Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Education, the School Union, clubs, coaches, and supervisors, in addition to expanding the base of talent discovery in schools and various regions of the Kingdom.
The workshop comes within the strategy of the Handball Federation to develop the base of the game, enhance partnership with the Ministry of Education and the School Union, and long-term investment in promising talents, ensuring the continuity of supplying national teams and clubs with qualified players capable of representing Jordanian handball in upcoming events.
