Great excitement in the clubs youth and junior athletics championship

The start of the youth and junior club athletics championship, organized by the athletics federation on the track of the University of Jordan and the stadium of Mazhar Arsalan School in Zarqa, witnessed great excitement in the battle to climb the podium.

Under the patronage of Federation President Rami Abu Orabi Al-Adwan, and with the participation of 261 male and female athletes representing about 20 clubs, the competitions kicked off with greater depth in terms of quality and substance. However, what caught the eye was the dominance of familiar names in the clear scene, with some even repeatedly winning colored medals in multiple events.

The club trio of Shafa Badran, Yarmouk Al-Baqa'a, and Al-Qadisiyah imposed a state of brilliance alongside the standout performances of the Al-Balawneh youth members. Furthermore, rapid development was the prominent headline in difficult races, specifically the relay events which won the approval of the audience and coaching staff, according to $'s follow-up.

Following the end of the day, champions were crowned with the participation of Al-Adwan, Federation Vice President Dr. Mustafa Al-Lozi, Board Member Abdul Qader Al-Maharmeh, Championship Director Rafiq Hamoudeh, and several club presidents.

The Federation President expressed his admiration for the remarkable competition in terms of performance and results, telling $: "The course of the championship differed from the past due to the strong presence of the athletics constellation. Undoubtedly, the primary beneficiaries, alongside the clubs, are the national teams, from whom we look forward to continuing to reap external achievements."

Al-Adwan stated: "The gains for these competitions were achieved following the clubs' insistence on honorable representation and filtering out elements capable of taking confident steps forward."

He added that the foundational building of goals for such championships highlights the true picture of the established programs and the spread of athletics across all governorates of the Kingdom.

He expressed his thanks to everyone who participated in making the event a success, specifically mentioning the coaches who provide plans through continuous training throughout the year, noting at the same time that teams' attempts to achieve records mean a lot to the athletics family.
